The film has Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, ans Alec Baldwin.
The movie is coming out on Christmas Day.
The movie was written and directed by Nancy Meyers.
She also wrote Somethings Gotta Give and The Holiday.
The movie is a comedy about love, divorce and everything between.
Jane played by Meryl Streep who has three grown kids, owns a bakery and has been Divorced from Jake played by Alec Baldwin for ten years.
At the graduation of the youngest son the two meet up at a bar and the night turns into the unimaginable.
Jane finds herself the other woman having an affair with her x-husband who is married to Agness played by Lake Bell.
Adam played by Steve Martin an architect hired to remodel Janes kitchen gets caught in the middle of this love triangle. Steve Martin does not have a major role but is funny in the parts he does play.
I thought this would be a classic chick flick but it was far from what I expected.
I brought my 11 year old daughter thinking I would have to cover her eyes for half the movie.
It turns out that the movie was really funny and had little sex or profanity shown.
The little parts they did show was Jake played by Alec Baldwin Naked on the bed but covered his you know what by a lab top computer.
You did see his behind a little bit.
That was even played off so funny that you did not even care.
I have to tell you I don't write about movies much but I strongly say go take your partner to this movie, you will leave talking and having a good laugh.
I don't recommend this for younger kids still because they will not get the adult comedy involved and my daughter was bored with the movie.
It is more of an adult film with the jokes being about sex.
I would give this movie a thumbs up however, because the entire audience was laughing at many parts in the movie, and the actors played this one to the tee.
Go see It's Complicated!
The other part of my blog is about how movie theaters charge you an arm and leg for drinks, popcorn and candy. I really do not know how any one even goes to a movie these days because if you take your family you will spend a fortune on a soda, candy or popcorn.
No wonder Cable has become so popular or that famous Red Box.
I was waiting for my wife and daughter in the lobby and decided to check out the prices on a soda, candy and popcorn.
A soda started at $3.00 for a small going up to $6.00 for a large.
The popcorn started at $5.00 for a small going up to $9.00 for a large.
Candy ranged from $3.75 to $4.25.
The sad thing about this is that the same items can be found at any gas station, or local store for much less.
If I would have bought three small sodas $9.00, on med bag of popcorn $7.00 I would have spent $16.00.
Tickets if I would have purchased them would have been $9.00 each a total of $27.00.
A night out at the movies for a party of three $43.00.
I think movie theaters should find a way to offer reasonable prices on sodas, popcorn, and candy at least, and to stay in business they should offer good ticket prices.
