The LFL has 10 teams but really has not be mentioned very much on any sports station that I am aware of. So here is some info about the LFL:
The basics of LFL:
Playing Field: 50 yard field, 8 yard end zones, 30 yards wide
Scoring: Touchdown 6 points, Safety 2 points, 2-yard run or pass conversion 1 point, a 5 yard is worth 2 points, no punting or field goals allowed
Offense: 7 players on the field, 1 QB, 2 Running Backs, 1 Down-Line woman, 3 Wide Receivers
Defense: 7 players on the field, 2 downlinewomen, 1 linebacker, 2 corner backs, 2 safeties
Team Roster: 14 active players and 6 inactive players
Time of Play: 2-17 minute halves, 15 minute half-time, 8 minute sudden death overtime, ;35 second clock
